Cosmetic acupuncture is facial and adjunctive care aimed at glow, muscle tone, and a rested appearance without injectables. Dr. Cho offers anti-aging facial acupuncture, ear acupuncture, and stone therapy as part of a K-beauty–informed approach.
Fine needles are placed in the face and body to support dermal microcirculation and facial muscle balance. The face is not treated in isolation: digestion, sleep, and stress often show up in the complexion, so constitutional points are commonly included.
Results are gradual and individual. The aim is a refreshed, natural look rather than a frozen or overfilled appearance.
People often come in for
- Fine lines and a tired or dull complexion
- Facial muscle tension, including jaw holding
- Puffiness and uneven tone related to circulation and fluid
- A desire for non-injectable, needle-based facial care
- Pairing facial work with relaxation or whole-person treatment
What to expect
Skin is cleansed and the face and body are treated with fine needles. Ear acupuncture and stone therapy may be added depending on the visit.
Facial needling can produce a brief pinch, then a settling warmth. Mild, temporary redness is common and typically fades after the session.
A course of visits is usually more useful than a single appointment if your goal is visible change in tone or texture. Dr. Cho will discuss a realistic cadence at consultation.
How Dr. Cho works
Treatment follows the cosmetic pillar used in clinic: glow and rejuvenation through facial acupuncture and anti-aging therapies, while still addressing the systems that keep the face looking strained or inflamed.
If you also have pain, sleep, or digestive concerns, those can be woven into the same visit so cosmetic work sits inside whole-person care rather than as a standalone spa add-on.
Cosmetic acupuncture is not a medical facelift, laser, or injectable procedure. It does not replace dermatology for lesions, infection, or disease of the skin.
