After a car accident or a workplace injury, pain, stiffness, and sleep disruption can linger long after the event is “over.” Dr. Cho treats these cases and provides documentation support for personal injury and workers’ compensation when you need a paper trail for your claim.
Acupuncture is used for the musculoskeletal and nervous-system aftermath: neck and back pain, headaches, guarded movement, and the stress that rides with an unresolved case.
The clinic welcomes these visits. You do not have to already know the perfect CPT language; you do need to say if an attorney, adjuster, or employer is involved so notes can be written accordingly.
Treatment, records, and communication
Personal injury and workers’ compensation cases need more than a visit on the table. The clinic treats the injury, keeps a complete file, and stays in contact with the legal team so care and the claim can move together.

What to expect
Bring what you already have: claim numbers, attorney contact, work status, and imaging or physician notes if they exist. Missing paperwork should not delay a first conversation.
The treatment itself looks like other pain visits: history, exam, acupuncture, a plan for follow-up. Time is reserved for the extra documentation these cases require.
Frequency depends on acuity and what your case allows. Dr. Cho will be direct about what acupuncture can reasonably address.
How Dr. Cho works
Injury care uses the same pain-relief framework as other musculoskeletal visits, with extra attention to mechanism of injury and functional limits (turning to drive, lifting at work, sleep position).
Documentation is part of the service, not an afterthought. The clinic does not give legal advice or guarantee claim outcomes; it treats the body and records what was done.
Acupuncture does not replace emergency care, imaging, or your attorney. Claim approval and insurance payment are decided outside this clinic.
