Detox and related care

Care related to detox, obesity, allergies, and atopy as part of a broader wellness plan.

“Detox” in this clinic is not a juice cleanse. It means supporting the systems that already clear metabolic waste, regulate fluid, and keep the immune barrier steady: liver and gallbladder channels in East Asian terms, digestion, sleep, lymph-adjacent circulation, and the skin.

Dr. Cho offers care related to detox, obesity, allergies, and atopy as part of a broader wellness plan. Weight-related concerns are treated as metabolic and digestive strain, not as a moral project.

Allergic and atopic patterns (reactive skin, seasonal symptoms, a barrier that feels easily provoked) are approached constitutionally: what is overacting, what is deficient, and what the gut and lungs are doing together.

People often come in for

  • A plan for metabolic strain and weight-related wellness
  • Allergic reactivity as part of whole-person care
  • Atopic and sensitive-skin patterns that flare with stress or diet
  • The foggy, sluggish feeling people describe after long strain
  • Pairing detox-oriented visits with gut or cosmetic care

What to expect

You will be asked about digestion, skin, sleep, environment, and what you have already tried. Extreme restriction is not the starting point.

Treatment uses acupuncture; herbal or dietary discussion stays inside licensed practice and your actual medical constraints.

Visits feel similar to other acupuncture sessions in length. The difference is point selection and the questions that guide it.

How Dr. Cho works

Detox care is folded into the same root-care map as gut health: enteric function, immunity, and metabolic load. Dr. Cho does not sell a proprietary cleanse or guarantee a number on a scale.

Allergy and atopy work is adjunctive. Continue prescribed inhalers, epinephrine plans, and dermatology care; acupuncture sits beside them.

Acupuncture does not “flush toxins” in the marketing sense and is not a treatment for anaphylaxis, infection, or organ failure. Use this page as orientation, not a protocol.
